Duncan joined the team at North Capital as a Client Director in March 2026. He has a MA (Hons) in Finance and Economics from the University of Aberdeen in 2012 where he also captained the University Golf Team. 

Duncan has been qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner since 2017 and has 14 years of industry experience. Duncan has joined from Evelyn Partners where he spent the last three years as a Director in the Financial Planning team and previously was Head of Financial Planning at Blackadders Wealth Management.

Duncan was recently listed as one of the leading 30 Global Financial Planners for 2026 by CityWealth magazine.

Outside of work, Duncan unwinds outdoors with his wife, children and two dogs and catches up on rugby podcasts. He is also a keen golfer.
